Orientation & job security
During the first few months at Hama, you will receive intensive orientation and support in the form of a buddy model. The rotating position scheme will provide you with an overview of every department that is relevant to your new work environment. Flat organization & works council
FLAT ORGANIZATION & OPEN-DOOR MENTALITY
At our company there are short distances to supervisors and short decision-making channels. Our supervisors are always willing to lend an ear for all of our employee’s concerns.
The Works Council consists of a 17-person team and advocates for employee interests. It is the first contact person for desires, suggestions and problems. The Works Council assumes responsibility for labour contract compliance, worker participation in personnel measures and much more. Even the Youth and Trainee Delegation (JAV) works closely with the Works Council.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Occupational safety is priority number one at Hama – every employee is expected to go home healthy every day. Two specialists are trained especially for this area and promote occupational safety together with our company physician. Our employees are trained on the topic of “Working Ergonomically”. Moreover, workplaces are, for example, equipped with ergonomic chairs to promote our employees’ health in the long run.
INTEGRATION MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME
The Integration Management Programme (BEM) is a structured and unified process developed by the company management and Works Council to support employees who are sick for a long time. All parties decide on what measures to take on a case-by-case basis. Our human resources consultants provide help and advice.
