Fun and safety from Germany

Hama further expands e-mobility range

Last year, at the IFA (International Radio Exhibition), Hama entered the e-mobility field with two self-balancing scooter models. This sector is also highly important at this year’s IFA in Berlin. Three new self-balancing scooters, an electronic scooter and a transformer attachment that turns a self-balancing scooter into an agile kart have been recently released onto the market. Hama continues to focus not just on riding fun, but also on the important topic of safety. There have been all-too-frequent reports of living room and flat fires caused by the batteries of cheap boards catching fire during charging. The cooperation between Hama and the German company Wheelheels has brought technically sophisticated, well-thought-out products.

Safety You Can Trust

Like so often in life, safety and fun do no have to contradict one another. The two actually go hand in hand. In cooperation with the German company Wheelheels Hama developed technically sophisticated and well-thought-out products instead of mass-produced goods.

Developed, designed, produced and tested in Germany

The development team is working together with the most creative minds from recognised German universities for design, engineering and electronic technology. Fresh ideas and unusual concepts are incorporated into the development and the design of the products. The individual parts are assembled in Germany. Each component is individually tested several times, as is the finished scooter. All electronic inspections and approvals are carried out by recognised and impartial bodies in Germany. The triple approval principle is applied in order to produce safe products that deliver a strong performance in riding pleasure. In cooperation with a German battery manufacturer the source of energy was devised that adheres to all vital safety standards and features all appropriate protective circuitry. Blazing batteries or riders being catapulted by suddenly stopping boards are thereby ruled out.

Three new self-balancing scooters in the range

Development work continues! The compact Slalom and the all-terrain Cross scooter each have a successor with extended technical specifications. New ground has been broken with the app-controlled Freestyle model. The first thing you notice is the futuristic design. You are then wowed by the numerous technical features.

Urban scooter – the electronic scooter

Stylish and laid-back – that’s electromobility today! The new Urban scooter from Hama is a world away from the old child’s scooter: You move at amazing speed, are guaranteed safe riding fun and will also practise your body balance.

Ride a self-balancing scooter in the sitting position

Hama presents an attachment that turns a self-balancing scooter into an agile kart in just a few steps. The seat is suitable for all common hoverboards with 6.5-inch, 8-inch and 10-inch wheels and is easily mounted onto the scooter. The wheels respond to a shift in weight as before. The frame length can be adjusted between 50 cm and 75 cm using a quick release; rubberised grips provide the right support on winding obstacle courses.
