POWER ON to the trade fair in Berlin
Hama at the IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung)
The IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung) takes place in Berlin at the start of September. As in previous years, the accessories specialist Hama is occupying the whole of Hall 10.2, where it is showing everything under the high-energy motto ‘Power on’. Trade visitors and consumers will be presented with an extensive variety of products from the different ranges of the Monheim-based company.
Innovations from Hama are always a colourful mix of products from the entire entertainment world. This year, the list includes several digital radios with multi-room functionality, the topics of e-mobility with self-balancing scooters and electric scooters, drones, Bluetooth speakers and headsets, new charging technologies for smartphones and similar devices, as well as tablet and gaming products.
Hot topic: Voice control
Hama is presenting a new product line under the name ‘Intelligent Home Series’, which combines the trend of voice control and intelligent home automation. The concept comprises the three areas of Hardware, Skills and Accessories. Hardware includes smart speakers and soundbars with the Alexa Voice Service; Skills comprise lamps and socket adapters that respond to commands of the Alexa Voice Service – generally known as ‘Works with Amazon Alexa’. Furthermore, Hama is showing accessories such as speaker stands and cables for the original Amazon Echo and Echo Dot speakers. The Hardware and Skills products of the Intelligent Home Series are licensed from Amazon and guarantee full functionality with Alexa Voice Services and the skills that can be thereby controlled. In other words, the Hama smart speakers and soundbars can be used to control all other household devices and accessory products that support the Alexa Voice Service.
Hama’s IFA stand planning is still virtual. The accessories specialist is looking forward to a lot of trade fair visitors in Hall 10.2 from 1 to 6 September.
