Hama has own trade fair hall at the IFA in Berlin
Main focuses: Intelligent Home, audio and mobile communication
Hall 10.2 at the IFA in Berlin is entirely reserved for Hama, the accessories specialist from Monheim. As in previous years, the large trade fair stand is subdivided into a retailer area and a large consumer area featuring theme islands covering the areas of mobile communication, home entertainment, multimedia, photography and gaming. This time, a large, walkable ball catches the eye. It is not just a striking design element, but also serves as the centre for the comprehensive audio product range, one of Hama’s focuses at the trade fair.
The sound booth for good sound
If you are interested in audio products, you don’t just want to see them and learn about the technical features. What counts is the audio listening experience. And this is offered to IFA visitors live in the sound booth during the entire trade fair. In particular, the smart sound systems will be demonstrated here. They were already a big topic at the Hama IFA stand the previous year. The Sirium 3600 and Sirium 4000 soundbars, presented then as prototypes, were the world’s first models to feature integration of the Alexa Voice Service. In the meantime, they have received many positive test ratings from renowned trade magazines, and impress all along the line in matters of sound, design, workmanship and price-performance ratio. This year, Hama is presenting two stationary speakers, the Sirium 2000 and 2100, and a mobile speaker, the Sirium 1000. The Intelligent Home series, to which the Sirium 1400 desktop speaker also belongs, is therefore continuously being extended. The focus here, as before, is on the brilliant sound, smart voice control, and multi-room and streaming functions offered by these products as well as their good retail prices.
In general, Hama is backing the intelligent home, and consequently continues to expand its range of skills such as WiFi lamps, WiFi socket adapters or WiFi touch wall switches, for example.
The digital radio trend continues
Digital radios have been part of Hama’s range since 2010. Current figures confirm that this trend is continuing. In 2017, a total of 1,3 million DAB+ devices were sold in Germany alone, and the industry is expecting further increases. With its elegant and high-quality designs, Hama once again has its finger on the pulse, and impresses with technical features and practical product ideas. An example is the retrofit adapter that makes existing car radios suitable for DAB+ without the need for complicated modification work.
For many years now, the accessories specialist Hama has used the slogan ‘The Smart Solution’ for its international advertising. Never has it been more appropriate, and this does not refer to the new smart product ranges alone. It goes far beyond that. With well thought-out and clever products, Hama offers solutions in all product areas that fulfil the needs of the different target groups. Here the technology must be right and always up to date, while at the same time, fashionable trends and the spirit of the times must not be lost sight of. The spectrum is very broad, and even the whole of Hall 10.2 at the IFA in Berlin will not be sufficient to show everything. But there are a lot of new things to discover and it is definitely worth a visit.
