Dashcam with ultra wide-angle lens
Support when it matters
Traffic accident disputes that go to court are not always about who is at fault in the case of a vehicle write-off. Often it is minor damage that causes emotions to run high. The ‘60’ dashcam from Hama, which is mounted to the windscreen using a suction cup, quickly sheds light on events leading up to an accident.
When movement is sensed, the camera switches on automatically, the 140-degree wide-angle lens films the area in front of the engine bonnet, and the footage is overwritten automatically as long as the camera does not sense a major vibration. This loop interval can be freely set to one, two, three or five minutes, whereby there is always enough free storage space. Perfect recordings at night are guaranteed thanks to the automatic night vision mode. Sound is also recorded, which can likewise shed light on the circumstances. Should the worst then actually happen, a built-in G-sensor prevents the inadvertent overwriting of important files and saves the video file automatically in the case of an accident. The entire recording is then written to a microSD card (maximum capacity of 32 GB) inserted in the device. A special extra in matters of safety is the built-in lithium-ion battery, which serves as a temporary backup solution during periods without a power supply.
